FRC is proud to offer innovative, end-to-end solutions for building fire safety and compliance. We aim to make Britain’s buildings safer. In 2017, the Grenfell Tower tragedy heightened the need for immediate action. It highlighted the UK’s ongoing cladding crisis. The Hackitt review revealed the many issues with construction and safety checking, and regulatory reform is striving to improve it. To ensure the safety of the UK’s residents, we identified a need for guidance, accountability and services in the relatively new and evolving façade fire safety landscape. FRC offers a complete process, conducted by suitably qualified professionals, offering a solution for those responsible for building safety who find themselves up against these fast-paced and often complicated changes in advice and legislation.
Our business model enables our consultants to operate nationwide (excluding North Wales). Responsible Persons across the UK can now have access to a dedicated specialist who can assess and improve the safety of their buildings for residents. It also means we can offer advice and solutions from the initial FRAEW/PAS 9980 Survey, to Lead Consultancy on remediation projects, all the way through to submission of the Building Assessment Certificate for occupation.
The FRC team is made up of some of the UK’s top surveying and fire engineering talent, as well as our highly skilled supporting staff.
Our consultants travel all over the country delivering our services. Our fleet of vehicles is equipped with supplies to inspect, take samples and reach even the most difficult-to-access areas on all buildings. With more than 20 years’ experience in the façade industry, our consultants are perfectly placed to carry out inspections and work on your building’s external walls. FRC provide great client support from all stages of projects, whether from inception, concerning initial proposal for services tailored specifically to our individual sites, through to the high standard of completed survey reports which allow the user to easily digest content. This might be relating to complex documents such as FRAEW3 PAS9980 surveys through to internal compartmentation checks. A real benefit is the “one stop shop” approach which provides clients with the assurance that all aspects of projects are being captured.
A key attribute of FRC is communication which is at the core of what they do. This ranges from onsite consultants undertaking the inspections and engaging with backroom staff who are on hand to answer any queries across a number of different aspects.
